From a young age he was inspired by music and visual arts. David was privately trained in all styles of music and was the recipient of the Royal Conservatory Gold Medal Award for the highest mark in Atlantic Canada for classical guitar when he was only seventeen.
After he received the prestigious award it motivated him to continue on his musical path, so he left his small town and started studying Jazz Guitar in Toronto, Canada where he met his first producer, Riksha. After a year of studying Jazz Guitar at Humber College in Toronto, David wanted more. He traveled to Boston to further educate himself at Berklee College of Music and started working on projects with many producers in Boston as well in Toronto. Although David is working very hard to further his career in the mainstream market, he still has a great passion for creating deep feeling, lyric-free music. David stays in touch with his practice of creating experimental and jazz pieces so that he can fully represent specific feelings through music. David now plays shows in Los Angeles, Toronto, and Boston.
