PC Worship is an experimental band based in Brooklyn, NY headed by Justin Frye, who writes, records and makes the art for all the bands releases.
PC Worship regularly features contributions from Mike Etten (guitar/sax), Pat Spadine (homemade instruments) & Jess Paps (vocals), as well a rotating cast that draws from ~40 past collaborators. Often utilizing homemade (sometimes broken) instruments, the group's music explores a dynamic range of styles, from heavy rock / punk to sparse acoustic songs, often incorporating free improvisation and alternative composition techniques. PC Worship’s first LP, NYC Stone Age, was released in 2009 and was closely followed by multiple 7”s & cassettes, a 12” EP, Dread Head (2011) and two full lengths, Toxic Love (2012) and Beat Punk (2013). In 2014 PC Worship began working with Brooklyn labels Northern Spy & Dull Tools to release Social Rust. Since then, they have gone on to release their fifth full length, Buried Wish (2017), two EPs - Basement Hysteria (2015) & Future Phase (2018) and a collaborative LP with Parquet Courts under the moniker PCPC called Ramsgate (2015) that was recorded live during a European tour.
