Marvin Bloo is an emerging singer-songwriter and recording artist. The son of child refugees whose families escaped the perils of communist upheaval in Southeast Asia, Bloo’s early childhood in city public housing projects fostered a fighting spirit.
Ultimately growing up in a Connecticut suburb, his unique perspective shapes an eclectic sound of R&B and Pop- subtly steeped with K-Pop, J-Pop, T-Pop, and Bollywood influences synchronized to his experience singing in choir and dance groups growing up.
Bloo began with homemade releases to SoundCloud in the summer of 2017 and continued with singles “OH WOW” and “OUTSIDE” in 2018. His first EP "karaoke days" is set to be released summer 2019.
