The Los Angeles based, married duo, have been steadily creating their own universe of music that skirts the lines between pop, folk, and alt rock - blended with danceable rhythms and sing-a-long hooks.
Following the success of their 2016 single “Shaky Ground,” Freedom Fry released a new single followed by a b-side every other week in 2017 leading up to their “Remixes” EP, a collection of their biggest singles remixed by the likes of Sofi Tukker and Penguin Prison. Freedom Fry closed out 2017 with the release of the “Strange Attraction” EP and Indie Shuffle named them “Best Indie Rock of 2017.”
On June 1, 2018, Freedom Fry released their long-awaited debut album, “Classic,” followed by a 10-city tour that took them from Los Angeles to Paris. In 2019, they gave birth to a baby boy and released a 3-song EP every month.
While independent, their music has been played on radio airwaves all over the world and they’ve amassed over 100-million combined track streams on Spotify and Apple Music. Catching the ears of music supervisors, they’ve licensed songs for more than 60 spots, including placements in hit shows “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Shameless,” “The Morning Show,” and in high-profile ads from fashion labels such as Lanvin and Madewell.
This year, they will release their second full-length album, “Songs from the West Coast.”
