At first they played a selection of indie and alternative rock covers and in 2016, Louis wrote their first original song. Over the next couple of years as band members left school for university, Nearly Unsociable began playing to public audiences at local pubs and community festivals. The group became closer-knit as they rehearsed and collaborated on more original material written by Louis, and their classical tuition gave them the skill base from which to develop their own style.
Now focused on original songs, the alternative rock band recorded their debut singles ‘Fight The Feeling’ and ‘The 14th Floor’ in 2018 at Brighton’s Blue Dot Studios with producer Olli Daffarn. Following gigs in their Reading hometown for Club Velocity and SpeciaLive 2019, the band plans to expand its performance opportunities while working on new material.
