Stee is one of the most versatile vocalists and engaging performers in Urban/Pop today. Singing on top of multiple genres while giving every song the same feel is what his artistry is all about.
Born Sterlin Colvin II in Washington D.C., Stee showed sure signs of a potential career in the limelight after landing his first acting gig in the fall of 1995 with a small show on the rise called "Creative Clubhouse". At the end of his run on the show in summer 1997, Stee decided to completely stop show business as being that young and having a work schedule so rigorous was something he wasn't cut out for.
The turn to a career in music came by a faithful meeting at church in 2001 with a young songwriter/producer named Malcolm Horne who saw Stee as someone who could bring his productions to life. With no plans on ever becoming a recording artist, this encounter sparked the idea that there could be success in the music business for the both of them.
With Stee's debut single "Good Man" released in 2008, the song gained major recognition when a curator on Youtube took a liking to the song and posted it on Youtube's front page jump starting Stee's independent music career. From this jump start came Stee sharing the stage with major heavyweights like Monica, Lloyd, Marques Houston, & OutKast's Big Boi as well as working with Big Boi's Big Kidz Foundation.
