She's been described in the press as having the uncanny ability to translate half a minute of life experience into a profound musical statement.
Having cut her teeth in Wilfrid Laurier’s Classical Music program and then the Toronto folk scene, singer-songwriter Lesley Pike has since been embraced by major cities around the world. Known for her raw, emotional songwriting and engaging and often-times hilarious live shows, Lesley was Gibson Guitar’s featured performer two years in a row for Sundance Film Festival at the O2 in London, and has toured with a huge range of artists including Jason Mraz, Darius Rucker, Cowboy Junkies, Joan Osborne, Jeremy Fisher and many others. Her 2015 album “November” earned features on Spotify’s home page and performances on Last.FM in New York, Canada AM, Global National, The BBC, The CBC, and Sirius Radio amongst others, alongside tours in Canada, America, Ireland and the UK. Her new album, “HONEY & RUST” (out August 31 via Fontana/Universal) features her signature raw lyrical style with a pop-infused throwback flavour and includes 10 tracks, including duets with Juno nominee Peter Katz, Grammy Nominee Ari Hest, and beloved Brit Jon Allen.
