Caswell grew up surrounded by music in Tulse Hill, South London. Armed with her first microphone as a toddler, she subsequently taught herself the piano and began to write songs at just ten years old.
Drawing from influences such as Kate Bush, Erykah Badu and Nina Simone, Caswell has honed herself a signature mix of downtempo electronic soul and pop. 2018 has been her best year yet, with great support from BBC Introducing and the PRS Foundation as well as a support slot on Arlissa’s UK tour and had a shout-out and sync of her track Dance Sober on ITV’s This Morning. Having played a string of live UK Festival dates this summer, she was also featured on the official Latitude website as a festival highlight amongst Wolf Alice and alt-J. Caswell is now working hard on the release of her second EP, due for release early 2019.
