“The appealingly watchful-faced Emma Rowley..."
— The New York Times, March 2008 (Ben Brantley)
Emma Rowley is a singer, songwriter and pop recording artist. Pursuing her craft has led her to performing in many exciting places including multiple Broadway stages in New York City (LuPone Gypsy in 2007 & 2008, Bye Bye Birdie in 2009), twice as a featured performer at Carnegie Hall, singing original music at Nashville’s famous Bluebird Cafe, and fronting the jazz band at the historic Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island, Michigan. After earning her Bachelor's degree in Commercial Music & Songwriting from Belmont University, in Nashville she found herself back in the area she's always called home, Purcellville, Virginia. It is there that she focused on writing and recording new music with Northern Virginia producer/songwriter Todd Wright and his close collaborator out of Philadelphia, Ethan Mentzer. Rowley now permanently resides in Nashville, Tennessee, traveling back to Virginia monthly to perform and continue recording new music with Wright and Mentzer.
