He was a student at St. Micheal's Convent School in Karachi and on March of 2014 Donxila started to make his own songs. Some were out of sync but he still kept on going while using the name Donxila which means : Don = Dawn and Xila is a Urdu word meaning District so the meaning of this name is " Rising Sun District " He was heavily influenced by voices of Late Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Mohd Rafi, Kishore Kumar, Mukesh, R.D Burman, Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosle, Madam Noor Jehan, Abida Parveen. He was also into western sounds of Bob Marley, Bill Withers, Metallica, Slayer, Bon Jovi, Muddy Waters and etc but his real passion became Hip Hop after he discovered the album by Late Tupac Shakur " Strictly 4 My N****Z " His own music is heavily influenced by guitar driven sounds and his experimentation of 808's which you can listen to on Amateur Hour and his 4 albums on MQZ profile. Donxila believes that there are many artists in Pakistan who need to know that they can put themselves on. " This is just one of many ways of doing it ! Believe in yourself. "
