Since exploring her craft of songwriting at the age of 12, Megan Lara Mae, began performing original works at the age of 15 at shows and festivals across the U.K. During summer 2017, Megan Lara Mae took her talents to the stages of well-known music festivals such as The Great Escape, Smoked & Uncut and even Glastonbury Festival. Megan’s list of accomplishments also includes radio recognition through several broadcasts and a live lounge performance on BBC Introducing in the West Midlands and The South. Megan has also been featured on the Tom Robinson Introducing Mixtape on BBC 6 Music.
Following three previously released singles, Megan Lara Mae’s latest project is currently in the works, with her now-released single and lead track, “Caribou” out ahead of her debut EP. Having been inspired by a scene from Planet Earth II, “Caribou” comes with the empowering message of overcoming difficult situations and not giving up.
