Opportunities borne from the success of Big Wave More Fire ushered in a new chapter for DJDS. Between producing platinum songs for Khalid and experimental R&B with Dijon and 6lack, they formed their strongest creative bond with the global superstar Burna Boy. After working on his album African Giant and their collaborative EP Steel & Copper, DJDS temporarily left LA for Jamaica, and set up shop in a Kingston studio to work with some of city's most talented rising artists.
Successfully walking between all of these different musical worlds is the true essence of DJDS at their core. Their list of collaborators and achievements grow, but the emotion and soul in their work stays firmly in place.
