TrapPop artist Chantaé Vetrice, a born and bred New Yorker,
is using her bold image and unique sound to take on music world. When listening to her music, the influence of Janet Jackson, Prince, Gwen Stefani, and Madonna are present but with a rap edge. She began her music career in ATL working alongside some of the industry’s top producers such as J Rell (Tyrese, Jamie Foxx, Musiq Soulchild, Maroon 5, Ceeloo Green, Mr. Probz, Andersen Paak, Queen Latifah & others) and landed a production deal with Anthony Dent (Diddy’s Hitmen). In 2010, Chantae’ moved to Ibiza, Spain where she focused on creating her persona and coming into her own as an artist. She was on the cover of various magazines such as Ibiza Style, featured in Pacha Magazine alongside DJ Roger Sanchez (who still remains a close friend), Ushuaia Magazine, and was the face of UK-based live music venue, Ibiza Rocks. Musically, she was able to work with producer Rui Da Silva of the famous song titled “Touch Me” and Sonic Vista Studios where artists such as Lady Gaga record. In 2017, she landed a collaboration with Swiss Beats and Bacardi for his global tour called NoCommission. The iconic image of her is on thousands of limited edition Bacardi bottles worldwide and was taken by French-Senegalese photographer Delphine Diallo, who has worked alongside Peter Beard and featured in the Smithsonian. Chantae’ currently has a sponsorship with beauty/cosmetics brand ManicPanic NYC (home of Tish & Snooky).
