Joel Alan Taylor graduated Joel Alan Brenneman from Hempfield High School in Lancaster, PA in 2007. After developing his music on a small island off the coast of Rhode Island for a few years, Taylor relocated to San Francisco in December of 2014, and a few months later released an acoustic studio record, "FTM", that was recorded in SF with recording engineer Bozho Lasich. A second project, also created with Lasich, was a guitar-heavy 3-track EP named "Taylor", released July 2016.
Taylor had also been equally immersed in his rock band, The Cooper Taylor Project, founded by he and fellow San Francisco songwriter Ethan Cooper in October of 2015, until Cooper left San Francisco for Massachusetts after a year and a half. With the Cooper Taylor Project and quite a few solo acoustic performances behind him, Taylor is anxious to really stretch his legs with the Pretty Noises. Their debut LP will be printed on vinyl this summer.<br>
