Fourscore is quickly making a name as the most original crossover band to come from the Midwest. The four classically-trained members - Bridget O’Leary, Hillary Sametz, Katie Benyo, and Justin Cowart - met at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
In 2017 they began to talk about how to bridge the gap between their training and the love for pop music they had fostered since childhood, and from this Fourscore was born. The ensemble has been producing numerous original covers and continue to build their reputation as a unique and forward-thinking ensemble. Their first EP, eponymously titled Fourscore, will be released in April 2019, and showcases six original arrangements of songs from their repertory of covers - ranging from dance and DJ-influenced tracks like "I Knew You Were Trouble" and "Let Me Love You" to the ballad styles of "Fake Empire" and "Never Stop".
