Described by Beat Magazine as a singer that “rings of a soulful folk-pop sound”, some of Sean's major influences include Hozier, The Lumineers, Gregory Alan Isakov and Tame Impala. His debut single, ‘Treading Water' premiered on Triple J’s national radio program ‘Roots 'n All' with Nkechi Anele in May 2019 and was also featured on RRR and JoyFM. He held a single launch at Northcote Social Club the same month, with support from Davy Simony and Paige Black. The track was recorded and produced at his home studio and mixed by Robin Waters (The Boat People). Sean recently finished working on a collection of exciting new songs that he recorded and produced with Simon Moro at Allan Eaton Studios in St. Kilda. The tracks feature drums by Josh Barber (Gretta Ray), trumpet by Charlie Woods (The Teskey Brothers) and bass by John Lebesis. The first two of these tracks, ‘Wither on the Vine' and 'Cinderella (Steal The Show)' are out now. Make sure to follow Sean Frayne here or on Instagram to stay up to date with upcoming releases.
