Kincaid Rabb

Kincaid Rabb, collaborative composer and arts advocate, has worked with numerous creative and performing artists in Arizona, including the Paradise Winds, the Driftwood Quintet, the Santa Cruz Summer Winds, the Brelby Theatre Company, and the faculty and students at Arizona School for the Arts, Glendale Community College, and the University of Arizona.
He has won awards such as second prize in the 2011 Hillcrest Wind Ensemble Call for Scores with his piece “Piper’s March,” and first prize in Composition for the 2014 Maricopa County Community College District Artists of Promise Awards with his piece “Scenes from the Big Top.” His principal teachers have included Douglas Harbin, Sydney Guillaume, Daniel Asia, and Pamela Decker.
Kincaid was the Founder and Executive Director of Classical Revolution Tucson, an organization dedicated to making classical chamber music more accessible by bringing it to nontraditional venues. He graduated cum laude from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Music Composition in the spring of 2017.
Kincaid was a founding member of Outlaw Reeds, a Tucson-based reed quintet that sought to present high quality chamber music while connecting to the deep cultural history of southern Arizona. He currently lives in Phoenix, Arizona, where he continues to develop and seek new opportunities for collaboration with musicians and other artists.
