RIVIERE MONK is an electronic music duo composed of Kilian and Cedric, two cousins coming from Martinique, rum lovers and founders of the label Distile Records.
Drawing their inspiration from Caribbean rhythms, electro music as well as rock, soul, reggae or even blues, they offer a colourful electronica. Their live performance, where they share bass, guitar, percussions and synthesizer, will embark you on their journey, sailing with them between joy and melancholia. Their two singers are the perfect finishing touch to their project, as they transcend it with their prophetic songs and soul-inspired musings.
This colorful musical melting pot gave birth to RIVIERE MONK’s first EP : Supercruz’ which warmth takes you from a Parisian boulevard to sunny Caribbean beaches. The atmosphere is solar and the melodies, dancing.
