Each of their three albums on Xtra Mile Recordings, Born To Ruin ('Stunning': Kerrang!), Union City Breath ('A triumph from start to finish': Punktastic) and The Southern Wild ('A glorious surprise': R2) has showcased a band at the top of their game and made them many fans around the globe. They have also released eight singles including a split with Frank Turner.
Over the years, Crazy Arm developed another side to their forte: playing stripped-down songs with fiddle, banjo and close harmonies, that reflect their love of folk-roots, bluegrass and Americana (to wit: The Southern Wild).
They have toured the UK/Europe many times as headliners and with the likes of Against Me!, Frank Turner, Chuck Ragan, Larry & His Flask, Murder By Death, Restorations, Boysetsfire and Apologies I Have None; and have appeared at festivals including Boomtown, 2000 Trees, Reading/Leeds, Groezrock and Mighty Sounds.
The band are currently in the studio finishing their fourth album, Dark Hands, Thunderbolts. Scheduled for release in early 2020, it's a return to the Americana-infused punk/rock of their first two albums.
