He is a co-founder of Principle and is Musical Director of the Theo Adams Company.
His debut single ‘Mother’ was premiered on Tom Robinson’s BBC Radio 6 Music show in late 2017, and the music video was premiered by Another Man, who admired his "mesmerising... spellbinding melodic pop sound”.
Classically trained, and drawing on his experiences as violinist in art-pop orchestra The Irrepressibles, Canadian band The Hidden Cameras and as musical companion to Grammy-nominated Olivia Chaney, he creates vivid, emotive music, weaving melodic ‘sad-boy pop’ and symphonic-inspired textures.
He has performed across Europe, Asia and North America. He has played with Lana Del Rey, Bat for Lashes and Patrick Wolf, at major venues such as Barbican, Tate Britain, RA and ICA, QEH and BAM (NYC).
He has worked with artists as diverse as Fiona Shaw, Nick Knight, David Sims, Raqib Shaw, Matt Lambert, Matthew Stone and Isamaya Ffrench.
His debut short film score for Theo Adams Company’s ‘Safety Curtain’ debuted on Channel 4.
He has created music for Charles Jeffrey Loverboy, Alexander McQueen, Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Halpern, Liberty of London and W Magazine.
His classical music is released on NMC, commissioned and performed by London Sinfonietta, BBC Philharmonic, Philharmonia Orchestra, Hallé Youth Orchestra, Oliver Knussen, James Macmillan, Claire Booth, Katherine Broderick, Clio Gould and Marina Poplavskaya.
