HunterStreet has its origins in the drowned land. In 2014, they started experimenting using drums,
guitars and synthesizers to create an unmistakable recipe: a solid and tight rock-sound
accompanied by a deep timbre.
They have been expanding their devoted fanbase since the release of their debut mini-album, ‘We
All Wander’. The album cover depicts younger versions of the band members and also reflects
their collective musical development during the recording process.
The band has finished recording their second EP, produced by Martijn Groeneveld in his Mailmen
Studio, Utrecht (Klangstof, Emil Landman, Blaudzun, Rondé, Bertolf, Kensington, Dotan, ... ). The
EP is scheduled for release in 2017 and brings a deeper, desaturated and more mature sound.
What comes out of HunterStreet's amplifiers is as flammable as celluloid, more chemical than
saltpeter and more danceable than Joy Division. Close your eyes and listen carefully. In seconds
you'll imagine yourself sitting on the backseat of a dirty old BMW next to Emily Ratajkowski
passionately whispering the lyrics in your ear.
The hunt is on.
