He later began producing original music on his own when he decided to move to Colorado in 2011. A move he made in search for self-discovery, he spent two years making beats and skiing in the rocky mountains. After tearing his ACL, he decided to move to Milwaukee to pursue music more seriously with friend and collaborator, WebsterX. Mic Kellogg hit a breakthrough in 2015 as a solo artist with his self-produced debut album, Breakfast. He credits the laid back, feel good sound to his obsession of exploring nature and enjoying life to the fullest, which you can catch a glimpse of in his video "By 3". Since Breakfast, Kellogg has released a series of singles and produced tracks for Rahn Harper and Lucien Parker. His latest EP, “Make This Last” released on Sept 21 with the lead single Keep Lovin'. Make This Last is a story about chasing happiness and acknowleding the things in your life that makes you feel the best and keeping those things around no matter what the cost.
