Snorri Hallgrímsson is a composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist from Reykjavík, Iceland. His music blends together haunting strings, distorted beats, intimate pianos, and the composer’s own ethereal voice.
Snorri is a long time collaborator with composer Ólafur Arnalds, and has among others worked with him on “The Chopin Project”, “Island Songs”, and the BAFTA-award winning score for “Broadchurch”.
Snorri's debut album Orbit was released in 2018 to widespread critical acclaim. His latest release is the soundtrack to award-winning documentary 'Chasing the Present'.
