By the age of 21 he had played with all the major London orchestras.
At 28 Jonathan became a Signed artist to E.M.I Classics and went on to sell 500,000 albums worldwide.
He was re-appointed as lead violinist to the new production at the ‘Sondheim’ theatre, London, in 2019.
Jonathan is the guest leader and soloist for many orchestras, including The Royal Philharmonic, BBCSO, National Symphony, London Concert and Ballet Rambert orchestras.
He also specializes in solo sessions and tracking/stemming work for producers and composers including Hans Zimmer.
In 2017-2019 he was the featured artist on ‘Sounds to Pictures’ volumes 1-3 which were recorded on £150million worth of violins.
In 2018 ‘Lost Lake’ by Oliver Davis was recorded by the Royal Philharmonic featuring Jonathan as Soloist. The single reached no.4 in the classical charts and the Album no.1.
2018-2020 will see Jonathan release a multitude of albums on Broken Thought Records.
In 2019 Jonathan’s first straight to Vinyl EP was released on Gearbox Records featuring the 1697 ‘ex-Molitor’ Stradivarius captured for posterity at Mark Ronson’s studios at Tile Yard, London.
He continues to collaborate with the prolific composers Gareth J.Rubery, Duncan Forbes, Louis Mander and Cameron Sanderson, co-writing music for Film and TV and contributing strings to their albums.
