Karl Seglem is an acclaimed Norwegian musician, composer and poet, and have created his own identity, fusing the sound of his different goat horns and tenorsax with the Norwegian Hardanger fiddle.
Out comes bursting primal power, strong beautiful melodies, improfolk and electronic dreamscapes. Seglem is inspired by life and nature in Scandinavia. His music is unique, a trans-global sound machine, a both acoustic&electric journey, and a new approach to create universal Norwegian music. His many recordings (39) sounds fresh, new, powerful and contemporary alive. In 2014 he was described as "A National Music Treasure" in Norway. This country has spawned quite a plethora of distinctive musicians that have made it their enterprise to merge musical traditions, often from their respective homesteads, with new expressions.
