Like a rock and roll chameleon this unit shifts gears constantly. Equally adept in the epic and anthemic single “Walls” as their more kinetic output “Charlotte” and “Sinister Sound”.
Formed in Geelong, Victoria in the midst of its famously punk and psych-rock heavy scene, TKM stood apart from their contemporaries, content to push their limits of their signature groovy, progressive rock style. This led to a slew of successful (Lunatics - #1 Triple J ‘Unearthed’ & Charlotte - 680k streams on Spotify), multiple appearances at iconic festivals such as Queenscliff Music Fest and East Coast tours with sold out shows. This rise to indy scene cult status culminated in their self titled debut album released in 2019. They also scored plays on major sports broadcasts such as the NFL, Big Bash Cricket, F1 Grand Prix and Bathurst.
The Kite Machine is a band built to make you move, dialled in to start the party and their prowess on the live stage has to be seen to be believed.
