and produced by Emma, became a surprise indie hit, about to reach 10
million streams on Spotify. The 23 year-old from Oslo, Norway, who actively played the violin as a child for years, still prefers to be in charge of every aspect of her music. At the same time she loves collaborating.
The follow up to Closer was the stripped down, yet massive, Make You Mine, co-written with topliner sensation Tayla Parx (Ariana Grande, Alicia Keys, Demi Lovato). Emma Jensen's brand new single is BETTER; a big retro pop tune she penned with the female Stockholm duo Mad Fun.
Emma's admiration for 80's pop music is a big part of the sound, while the
lyrics are personal.
For years she chose to keep to herself, afraid of taking the next step to getting music out. Her growing reclusiveness gave her time to learn how to produce songs via YouTube videos and writing lyrics about her feelings. Creating music turned into precious therapy. Especially
when she finally started releasing music and performing it on stage.
Emma's summer was mostly spent in the studio, writing and recording
songs for her forthcoming debut EP. BETTER is the project's first single.
