LZ7 is on a quest to perpetuate music that bypasses the intellect and speaks straight to the soul. With their infectious melodies, huge drops and back to back anthems, LZ7 knows how to rock a crowd.
Home, the latest album, includes the highly successful first single, “So Good,” being hailed in high rotation at MTV Hits Clubland, having the likes of NME, Pop Justice, and Dancing Astronaut among others being great supporters helping in the rail- ing of new fans and industry credibility. Home is an electronic/pop album packed with huge EDM anthems, uplifting vocal melodies and plenty of dirty electro bass drops that will send the EDM and pop world wild!
LZ7 has teamed up with several heavy hitters to bring this project alive. Start- ing with working with Grammy Award winning Producer, Solomon Olds and Cassell the Beat Maker who is responsible for such acts as Duffy, Natasha Beddingfield and Plan B, this album brings an exciting anticipation of being banger of an album that will help catapult LZ7 straight to the heart of the dance community.
“We are elated to get OUT there and play our new music to our fans and bring them a smile!” says front man Lindz West.
From the start, LZ7 has kept a relevance and honesty about their music which comes from a heart that sees the best in young people. The band draw on experi- ences from their own lives which give the listener a deeper perspective of where they come from, what they are all about and where they are heading with their music. Fronted by Lindz, Saint Louis and Lily Jo and backed by the sickest live band LZ7 live is not to be missed!
Shazam recently blogged on their website, “LZ7 started real underground about six years ago when they were working with high schools and young offender in- stitutes, inspiring young people to use music, emceeing, dj-ing and production as an outlet of creativity.” The band told verge magazine, “we found the more high schools we visited, the more popular our music got. To the point in 2010 when we independently released our first single which reached no. 26 in the Official UK chart. This was the launch pad for LZ7. Its been an amazing journey!
