Born in the Dominican Republic, in a Barrio called "Los Minas" then migrated into the US at 4 Yrs old, was the pioneer of NYC’s Latin urban culture Juan Miguel Villar better known as Tali Goya.
It didn't take long for music to influence his mindset. Since the age of 8, music has been an infatuation and influence from his NYC surroundings growing up in Washington Heights. From listening to Vico C, Tego Calderon, Hector La Coz, WIlly Colon to Biggie Smalls, Jay-z, 50 Cent, Lil Wayne & many others. it really sparked an energy that caused an eruption within him that changed latin music forever. Tali Goya has emerged himself into being a pioneer of the Spanish Trap culture with memorable hits such as Tamo Lindo, Flow Cabron, Que Vivan Lo Tiger, Commas Remix and has made impactful influences to the latin culture by inspiring many other people to become artists in the Spanish trap community. Gaining respect from others in the latin community, he's become a solidified and revered figure in the genre we call today, Spanish trap. He has transcended through other genres of music such as Dembow where he made one of the biggest well known today “Que Fue” with the one of the most respected names in the industry, El Alfa. He has also made his footprints on film such as El Ganador” a Netflix series starring Nicky Jam . Juan Miguel Villar better known as Tali Goya, is highly respective and well known as the one of the Mount Rushmore's of the foundation we consider to be Latin Urban music.
