Raquel Sofia released her first EP “Te Odio Los Sabados,” featuring her hit singles “Te Amo Idiota” and “Agridulce,”. She later launched her debut album “Te Quiero Los Domingos,” which was nominated for the 2015 Latin GRAMMY® “Best New Artist” category and where made her award show debut performing in the live broadcast.
In 2018, Raquel Sofia presented her sophomore album 2:00 AM, an album inspired by jazz, soul and pop, full of intimate lyrics and personal stories that reflect her as an artist and as a woman. In September 2018, she received her second career nomination for the 2018 Latin GRAMMY® Awards for her second album, 2:00 AM in the category, 'Best Singer-Songwriter Album’.
Raquel later kicked off her 2:00 AM Tour, performing 15 shows throughout Mexico with concerts in Monterrey, Saltillo, San Luis Potosí, Querétaro, Torreón and Puebla among others. She closed out the tour with completely sold-out shows in Mexico City and Guadalajara in December. S In December, adding to all the success Raquel has already achieved in 2018, she received her first nomination to the 61st Annual GRAMMY Awards in the category,'BestLatinPopAlbum'.
