Eddy Gabriel was born in Antigua Guatemala. Since he was a little kid he wanted to become a singer and musician.
He learned how to play the drums when he was 10 and played at a church. Then he took piano and guitar classes and began to compose. In 2009 he recorded his first original song in Spanish “Dejar De Amarte” and released it as his first single in Guatemalan radios. He also filmed a music video with one of the best actresses in Guatemala. In 2010 he recorded his first album but he didn’t release it until 2015 due to personal issues. He released singles in English in indie radios around the world. The single “Hannah” was released on XRP Radio in the UK in December 2014. By March 2015 “Hannah” reached No. 21 in the top 40 of XRP Radio. “Rock & Roll Is What I Love” was the next single, it was released in June 2015 in indie radios in the U.S and the UK, it became very popular and it was in the top 10 best new songs of America and in the top 100 best songs of 2015. In 2017 he released his second album “Born To Rock” and released the singles “Rock & Roll Ain’t Gonna Die” and “Here Without You” in indie radios around the world. In January 2018 Eddy released the single “You’re So Cruel” in radios in the U.S, UK and Australia. The single “Touching Too Much” got No. 12 and the single “The Skinny Girl Blues” reached No 18 on Valley FM in Australia. In 2019 he recorded his 3rd studio album. In 2020 the single “The Art of Seduction” reached the No 1 on XRP Radio in the UK.
