22-year-old London-based artist, Leyla Diamondi,

is half-Greek and half-Turkish. She represents the good that can happen when individuals choose unity instead of centuries of racial & cultural division.
Named after her grandmother, 'Leyla', who fought her whole life for women's right's and equality, Diamondi speaks up for the injustices still present in todays world.
'Down For You’, Leyla’s newest single, is about a spiritual experience during a romantic moment. “It’s a real powerful pop track. Excellent musicality to it” (Adam Crowther BBC Radio Bristol).
"The lyrics in Down for You are exceptional" (LeFuture Wave). 'It’s Ok Not to Be Ok' was written by Leyla Diamondi during the first lockdown. Many of her family members said it was a hit, however, Leyla said she “didn't think anything of it at the time.” It wasn't until after coming back from the studio with co-songwriter Lef that Leyla started to believe in the song herself.
‘Make Up Your Mind’ was originally written by Leyla when she was only 13 years old. After consistent requests to bring the song back by fans and family, Leyla re-wrote the song in 2020 at the start of the pandemic.
