EM is a critically-acclaimed singer-songwriter and virtuoso pianist from London; based in Los Angeles. A powerhouse performer and theatrical artist, she holds a residency at historic Harvelles’ Blues Club in LA, has performed at The Royal Festival Hall with renowned concert pianist Lang Lang, recorded an EP and full album with GRAMMY-nominated producer Bruce Witkin (Marilyn Manson, Aerosmith), and headlined legendary venues such as The Viper Room and The Baked Potato.
A classical pianist since the age of 4, EM earned two degrees in classical piano as a child. Venturing into songwriting and singing as she grew older, EM studied jazz with some of London's greats.
After moving to LA, she released her debut EP in 2018, "What I Want To Say To You". The EP was based on EM's personal experience with rape and was dedicated to sexual assault survivors.
In LA, EM developed EM & The Gems - her unique band whose sound is an eclectic mix of rock, jazz, pop, classical and theatre. Due to EM’s varied background and the expertise of her band members, their sound and stage presence is something unseen before.
Named "a rising music star" by Arianna Huffington's Thrive Global, EM released her 12 track concept album, "REBORN" on March 3 2020. A multi-faceted artist, EM also holds a degree in acting.
