Drawing from her own experiences as a musician and educator, she writes music in response to a need for more art that calls humanity to move beyond passive existence and into her mantra of, “H.O.P.E”, which she defines as, “health, optimism, power and experience.” In pursuit of this endeavor, Christa Deana also shares this message of purpose through her podcast entitled “In the World, Not of It”, as well as her YouTube channel, where she challenges others to live by their faith and not by sight. She also collaborates with artists from other countries including Jamaica, Japan, and Nigeria. She took home the Kindred Awards for Regional Christian Music award for Best R&B Artist and Artist of the Year. Christa Deana truly shines for Christ as she lives out her message each and every day, on and off stage. It is her desire that each word and musical note will serve as a healing modality for the listener that calls them to pursue their optimum health physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
