2015 was the year Yori started working on her long-expected second studio album, titled ‘September’. Supported by producer Mark van Bruggen and working closely with the British singer-songwriter and producer Fin Greenall (Fink) the songs were recorded on several locations, one of them an old abandoned prison.
The album ‘September’ is about harvesting and new possibilities. It is an exciting month, still warm with the closing summer’s sun but with a view of the dark sky called winter. Precisely that is how the tension feels on this fantastic record.
‘September’ consists of 10 popsongs of exceptionally high caliber, in which Yori plays all of the guitar parts. The songs are feisty, spirited, strong and fragile and will take you on a trip through all the seasons.
The record was released on September 29th in 2017. Later this year she and her band are doing a clubtour in The Netherlands. The record will also be released in Germany, France, The U.S. and Canada.
