"12 years is like an eternity for some bands," says singer Gary Segars. "Prosevere has been around long enough to see what seems like a million bands come and go, and we're still pushing, fighting and doing our thing."
"We don't give up."
Prosevere (pronounced pro-suh-veer), the energetic hard rock stalwarts from Memphis, TN, is comprised of Gary Segars on vocals, Eric Ashe on guitar, Matt Riley on bass, and Rocky Griggs on drums. The same four members have been at it since November 2006. The band has released 4 different EP/discs, and have maintained an active touring presence, not only regionally in the Southeast, but also having traveled all over the eastern United States. The band has an independent radio footprint, and are veterans of several radio / music festivals, including putting together and selling out their own Memphis music festival, The Hometown Throwdown, with headliners Shinedown in 2013.
2015 saw the group release their first full-length record, entitled "Hurts Like Hell." 2018 sees the release of "The Three Damn Disasters." The first 3 tracks were produced and mixed by Blake Allison of Devour the Day, with the next 7 being stripped down / acoustic songs.
Priding themselves on their live show, the band has toured with bands like Shinedown, Bush, Godsmack, Papa Roach, and others, hitting markets from New Orleans and Orlando all the way to New York and Minnesota.
