Formed near the end of 2014, Pyres of Kiev is a two-piece deathcore project based out of New Orleans, LA.
Members include Sterling Champagne III on guitars/bass and Jeep Rossano on vocals. After establishing a name and approach, the project's overall sound/style was soon to follow, solidified with the composition of their first original track, "Olga". Pyres of Kiev would soon go on to work with studio engineer Adam Holman over the course of two years to bring to life their debut full length album "Tochka Zoru", officially released through Chugcore on March 9th of 2017. The album features an appearance from good friend and Dysphoria frontman Maxim Kovalenko, sharing vocal duties with Jeep on the track entitled "Lady Death". Pyres of Kiev combines a raw, old school undertone with a modern deathcore style and draws heavy influence from bands such as Pantera, Crowbar, Behemoth, The Acacia Strain, Oceano, and Abacabb, amongst many others.
