Megan Davies is an independent recording artist, songwriter and producer originally from Harrisburg, PA.
In 2012 she graduated from Belmont University where she studied songwriting & classical guitar. Setting down roots in Nashville, Megan’s career began when she started uploading acoustic covers and mashups to YouTube, collaborating with her sister and other local artist friends in Nashville. Since then, her music has enjoyed over 750+ million streams and views across all digital platforms, Sirius XM radio play and TV & commercial placements.
While Megan enjoys producing covers and mashups, her passion lies in writing and performing her own original music. Her debut original project, “Bad Poetry” EP, was released in 2017. This was followed by several singles released between 2018 and 2020. Acoustic versions of these songs were released on her “Acoustic Collections” EP in 2020. Her original music has been premiered by Parade Magazine and Billboard and has been played extensively on Sirius XM’s The Coffee House. In December 2020, Megan released “Christmas with You” a stripped-down holiday EP with her sister.
Megan has toured both nationally and internationally opening for artists including Boyce Avenue, Striking Matches, Madilyn Bailey, Noah Guthrie, & Josh Turner. March 2019 was spent overseas in Europe where she headlined her own “European Moonlight Tour.” 2020 put the brakes on touring, and she plans to head back out on the road as soon as it’s safe.
