In 2015 and 2016 A Day Without Love has played SXSW, signed to Sounds and Tones Records and has been consistently touring. The band has done a crowd-funded fundraiser for Erika’s Lighthouse, has spoken about the importance of mental health awareness at shows, and has done the 90 covers in 90 days challenge via YouTube to bring awareness about mental health. After the challenge, A Day Without Love recorded a 13-song debut LP entitled Solace that was released August 30th, 2016 (Sounds and Tones Records).
Solace received reviews in multiple internet publications ( XPN, Jump Philly, Digital Wheat Paste) and praise from Daytrotter as one of the top performances of 2017. The record also embarked in a social media driven project via Instagram called Albums and Friends dedicated to telling stories about the people who support the record.
Reverting back to Walker's solo roots, A Day Without Love is currently working on a second record to be released in 2018 and touring.
