Johnny B. Nasty came to planet earth sometime in the 70’s, in the 20th century, landing on Nastyland, a state of mind that goes with him everywhere he goes and that, originally, was situated northeast of the Iberian peninsula.
Since childhood he channelled his frustrations by listening to the records of his elders and through some artistic activities that were more practical to him than any psychologist ever could; however none around him was able to realize that fact and he had to wait till he was fifteen to avail himself of a bass guitar and a microphone, articles he has not given up ever since then. He’s been a member of several bands, the most remarkable one being Nasty Army, of which he was part from 1999 to 2010. After their breaking up, he began a solo career that is still in full swing. He occasionally writes articles for the legendary magazine Popular 1 and for Rock On Magazine. Though his musical background is rooted on classic Metal, he has always considered Punk and Hard Rock as the styles that influence him more when it comes to creating, though it’s to be noted that his easily influenced musical mind can be affected by the most unexpected kind of sound. You should never anticipate that if he publishes a new work, you are going to hear the same type of sound you were used to. It might happen, but there’s no guarantee of that and no complains will be admitted. More Info: www.johnnybnasty.com
