Cynthia’s journey as a singer-songwriter started in the basements of NJ, the clubs of NYC & her brave move west when she landed in LA.
A gifted singer, she performed in Hollywood venues till she met Dublin born Annmarie Cullen. The songwriting team started their international indie-pop band Saucy Monky. The quartet went on to chart in Ireland and tour in support of their records. Irish press/radio play brought the girls to festival stages Oxegen and O2 in the Park. The LA Times said this: “Saucy Monky shares a lot of the qualities of pop’s classic female-fronted bands — Irrepressible melodicism and smart lyrics...” Songwriting success carried over to film/TV with a theme song on ABC daytime. Later, she joined The Secret Things band & was licensed by Sweden’s Loud Kult Records. The trio released the #metoo inspired track 'Keeper 'and 3 provocative music videos culminated with a cover of PJ Harvey’s 'Down By The Water'. Cynthia was invited by editor Niall Stokes to write a guest column for Hot Press Magazine in 2018 and this summer she launched her solo career with the single & captivating video “Phones.” September brought her back to Irish shores for solo appearances, radio shows including RTEs Arena.
