Formerly of the band Spirit, the Staehely Brother's rich musical history dates back to the classic, 1970s era of rock-n-roll.
While in Spirit, Al and John Staehely have performed on stages across the globe—including a headlining show at Carnegie Hall—and have written or performed music with many acclaimed artists such as Keith Moon (The Who), Marty Balin (Jefferson Airplane), Peter Cox (Go West), Bob Dylan, Robert Palmer, Jo Jo Gunne, and The Nick Gravenities/John Cipollina Band. In 1973, the Brothers released their debut album, “STA-HAY-LEE,” under Epic Records. It was very well received amongst their followers. Today they routinely perform together throughout Texas and California.
