Soprano Julie Roset graduated from the Haute Ecole de Musique de Genève. She is currently in the Artist Diploma program at New York’s Juilliard School. In 2019, she was a member of the Académie at Festival d’Aix-en-Provence, and she took part in the Internationale Meistersinger Akademie, run by Edith Wiens in 2021. On stage, Julie Roset has appeared in Die Zauberflöte at Opéra de Toulon, and in Sacrati’s La Finta Pazza at Dijon, conducted by Leonardo Garcia Alarcon. Last season she made her Paris debut in Mondonville’s Titon & l’Aurore with Les Arts Florissants and William Christie at Opéra Comique and appeared in Il Combattimento, conducted by Sebastien Daucé at the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence. In concert, she produces herself in baroques festivals with the ensembles Cappella Mediterranea , Clematis, Holland Baroque, Les Argonautes, Gli Angeli, and the ensemble Correspondances. On disc she can be heard in her first solo recording Nun Danket Alle Gott with Ensemble Clematis. Other recent recordings include Sigismondo d’India’s Lamenti e Sospiri with Cappella Mediterranea, Brabant with Holland Baroque, and Buxtehude’s Membra Jesu Nostri with Ensemble Correspondances. Highlights of 2021/22 season include Acis and Galatea with the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France under Garcia Alarcon, Rossi’s Orfeo with Julliard415, Haendel's Trionfo del Tempo e del Desinganno with Juilliard415 under William Christie, and l’Incoronazione di Poppea at the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence.
