Born in Brooklyn and raised in LA’s Laurel Canyon during its music halcyon days, Louise Goffin's career has ranged from singer-songwriter, recording artist, multi-instrumentalist, producer and touring musician.
In 2018, Louise has released singles as a digital series leading to an album of all new original songs expected in the fall with some amazing guest musicians, including Rufus Wainwright, Chris Difford (Squeeze), keyboardist Benmont Tench (Tom Petty), drummer Pete Thomas (Elvis Costello), guitarist Ben Peeler (Shelby Lynne), and award-winning musician Billy Harvey, who have contributed to her awaited new lp. She's toured with Tears for Fears, played with Donovan, Bryan Ferry (of Roxy Music), has Stevie Nicks, Don Henley and JD Souther singing on her first album, & has had her songs championed by David Gilmore, Linda Ronstadst, and Michael MacDonald.
"Is It Too Late To Hold On Tight", "Let Me In Again", "All These Hellos", "Good Times Call", "Revenge (feat. Skylar Gudasz)", "A Fine Surprise", and "New Year's Day (feat. Billy Valentine) all were released between Oct. '17- Aug '18. Louise produced a Grammy nominated album for Carole King. Her songs have appeared on film and TV shows, such as Gilmore Girls, Bad Santa2, Carrie Pilby, and Girlfriends' Guide To Divorce.
Trivia: Louise was the youngest artist to appear on the soundtrack for Cameron Crowe's classic Fast Times At Ridgemont High. She duets with her mom on the theme song for the hit TV show Gilmore Girls.
