    Don't Look Good
Musical roots and vocal chops run deep in Gatsby’s family and hometown, tracing all the way back to the 1940’s where his grandmother, a big-band singer in residency, would perform nightly at a historic local nightclub, The Rathskeller.
Combining a fresh blend of pop, soul, and R&B with a smooth soulful voice, Gatsby, originally from Kentucky, now calls Nashville his pop home.
Raised on a healthy dose of James Brown from his father, James Taylor from his mother, and Ella Fitzgerald from his grandmother, the eclectic sonic concoction laid the groundwork for Gatsby’s rich and tasteful upbringing. In his teenage years he added the R&B sounds of Michael Jackson, Ms. Lauryn Hill, Usher, and D’Angelo as well as the pop and hip-hop sounds of artists like Justin Timberlake, Kanye West, Jay-Z and more. Now, having spent the past few years sharpening his craft of storytelling, producing and songwriting for an array of artists, Gatsby has carved his own path. With his unique voice and his own soulful artistry, he’s ready to share it.
Gatsby’s authenticity is infectious and his melodies invite the listener into his own perspective on love, relationships, and life. Between his sexy-swagger and entertaining personality, Gatsby embodies joy and is in his element performing and connecting with people.
