Four-piece alt-rock group King’s Limit emerged in late 2016 after members joined forces from two separate bands.
When lead singer Mitch Chapman and bassist Kenzie Nelligan invited Jake Boyack (lead guitar) and David Di Iorio (drums) to join them for a show in their hometown of London, Ontario, the four quickly realized their chemistry was undeniable. They decided right then that this wasn’t going to be their last performance together. King’s Limit began playing shows in Waterloo, London, and Toronto, and soon gained a reputation as a band with a gritty, powerful sound.
Song writing clicked with the four immediately. With nostalgia-soaked lyrics surrounded by classic rock and blues influenced guitar riffs and balanced with a tight, groovy, rhythm section, each tune has something new to offer its listeners. King's Limit won't subscribe to the idea that a band has to stick to one genre - with influences all over the map, why put a limit on the kings?
King's Limit's high-quality entertainment doesn't stop at just their tasty hooks, catchy choruses, and high-energy stage presence. Follow them on social media to catch up on all their shenanigans in their hilarious promo series, "Taking it to the Limit."
With new music on the horizon, King's Limit is now based out of Toronto and has big plans to expand their sound to the rest of Canada and beyond.
