TreesTakeLife was born from an idea of Martina Sanzi and Mina Chiarelli. After their first debut EP Let Children be Children Again (2009) and thier first album Roll Sound and..Action!
(2012) edited by RAI and Smoothnotes Publishing they start to play around Italy (Arezzo Wave Lazio final selection), growing up as live band and as composers. From 2013 they composed music for some shortmovies produced by the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia of Rome. They have worked on some TV spot such for the Mondial Day Against Woman Violence produced by the TV Channel RAI.
During the 2015 they composed the soundtrack of the feature film My Saviour, directed by Steven Murphy and produced by Breezeblock Production that will be release on 2016. They worked with student's shortmovies from some Art and Cinema School from all over the world like: New York Film Academy, University of York, PRATT Institute, Goldsmiths University and University of Hertfordshire. At the end of 2016 TreesTakeLife realized the soundtrack of Matera 15/19 (Ep. I and Ep. II) a docu-film produced by Open Fields Productions, Arifa Film, and the support of Lucana Film Commission. Atually the project is involved in Matera 15/19 Ep III.
